\r\n\t\t\t\tIn the late 1970s, Dutch European Championship winning coach Wiel Coerver led a revolution in soccer coaching.\r\n\t\t\t\tHe was\r\n\t\t\t\tdissatisfied with the lack of individual skills and emphasis on defensive play in the professional game; an\r\n\t\t\t\temphasis\r\n\t\t\t\tthat many thought, was stifling the more exciting, attacking style of play necessary to score goals and attract\r\n\t\t\t\tfans.\r\n\t\t\t<\/p>\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\tCoerver Coaching was founded in 1984 by Alf Galustian and former Chelsea great Charlie Cooke who were both\r\n\t\t\t\tinspired by\r\n\t\t\t\tthe philosophy of legendary Dutch coach Wiel Coerver.
